After travelling the Nullarbor or about to embark on this great road experience you will need to stock with supplies. Norseman IGA Supermarket located in the town centre offers a wide range of groceries, fruit & vegetables, fresh bread & rolls, mouth watering cuts of meat and general household essentials. Open 6½ days.
Newsagency
Need to keep up with the news of the day or try your luck at winning lotto, not a problem. Norseman News & Health in the town centre is a registered lotto agency, carries a wonderful range of magazines & papers, greeting cards and gift lines.
Banking & Postal Services
ANZ has a full facility bank in the town centre with an all card ATM and is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.00pm, closed for lunch from 12.30–1.30. Dundas Post, located on the corner of Prinsep & Ramsay streets, is a licensed Australia Post outlet which also provides Commonwealth Banking services and giro post. Visit the Dundas Post website!
Service Stations
Visitors are well catered for with three outlets to choose from, providing premium unleaded, unleaded, diesel and auto gas.
- The Shell station is located in the town centre and opens every day. Monday to Friday the hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.00am to 3.00pm, Sunday 9.00am to 3.00pm. It does not have auto gas.
- The Caltex station is situated on the Northern end of Prinsep Street, and is open 24 hours.
- The BP station is located on the corner of Coolgardie/Esperance Highway and the Eyre Highway, and is open 24 hours.
Dining
Going hungry is not an option in Norseman as there are numerous outlets catering for all tastes, from the very simple to a la carte. The Railway, Norseman Hotel, Great Western Motel, Norseman Eyre Motel, Norseman Café, Norseman Mines & Workers Club, Caltex Service Station, and BP Service Station all provide meals of various styles at various times.
