Travellers visiting Norseman and the Dundas Shire are well catered for in respect to general facilities that will enhance their tourism experience. All of the travel stops on the Eyre Highway from Eucla to Norseman have public conveniences and ablution facilities.
In Norseman there are two parks with public conveniences and Welcome Park also has free hot showers available. Three outlets provide laundromat facilities, and fresh water is available from the tourist complex. In the summer months there is a public olympic size swimming pool, situated in the town centre, to provide welcome relief on those very hot days. It opens from noon to 6pm every day with a kiosk serving refreshments.
There is an internet kiosk available at the BP service station. Full services are available at the Telecentre on Princep Street, which opens 9.30am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday.
The Norseman Visitor Centre is located in Welcome Park just a short stroll/drive from the town centre. It provides easy and plentiful parking along with a beautiful shady grassed seating area with free electric barbeques. As the 'Gateway Visitor Centre' for Western Australia it carries a wide range of information to cover all the regions and is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 9.00am to noon and 1.00pm to 4.00pm Saturday, and 9.30am to 4.00pm Sunday. Visitors are very well catered for with travel bookings available for Transwa, Perth Goldfields Express, and air fares booked through Stodarts Travel. The Visitor Centre is also an Interflora agency. Services provided by the centre include bookings, photocopying and faxing, and there is a wonderful choice of gifts and souvenirs for sale.
